Instruction to Palm Oil Scanner

1. Download the app
FREE do the mobile phone on Goole Play Store or App Store
2. Open the app
Edit in SETUP to ANYTIME / WHEN WIFI CONNECTED ONLYI
3. Scan option
Point the red line that appears on the product bar code display.
Doesn´t contain the palm oil
There is no reason not to buy the product and enjoy its taste
Contains the palm oil
Do not buy the product and and choose another one by using the button SHOW ALTERNATIVE PRODUCTS. Submit a "complaint" to the manufacturer directly in the application, see the photo gallery below.

How to add to database?
- Determine if the palm/palm kernel oil is contained in the product and mark YES/NO
- Take a picture of the product, so that its name is readable. Confirm.
- Take a picture of the composition of the product so that it is readable. Confirm.
- Submit the product to the database.
Answers and questions
SCANNING THE CODE IS NOT WORKING
The product should be approximately 20 cm away from the mobile device. If it is not working well, zoom in or zoom out the product from the device. Problems with code scanning may also happen due to a lack of light, in this case click the "Turn on flash" button, then try to focus on the product code again.
WHY THE PRODUCT IS NOT IN DATABASE?
We have not been able to analyze the product yet. It could escape our attention or it is a brand new product.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH THE NEW PRODUCT DOWNLOADED IN THE DATABASE?
The upload speed depends on your internet connection (You can also delay it until you are connected to the wifi, see settings). The product will appear in the app until the administrator verifies the correctness of the product data and updates the application.
WHY IS IT GOOD TO UPDATE THE APPLICATION?
Together with the update of the application, the product databases are updated. On the one hand, new products are being added, and the composition of the product changes and palm oil disappears.
IS IT ACTUALLY POSSIBLE TO USE THE APP OUT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC?
We are currently testing the success of our database in Slovakia.
